Svetlana Siljanoska

Senior Strategic Communications Consultant and former Advisor to the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, with a focus on stratcom for NATO and security affairs. Svetlana specializes in crisis communication and combating disinformation, including Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI). As a member of the Prime minister`s office, she led the national efforts on countering disinformation through multi-stakeholder partnerships and developing strategies based on information environment assessments, including hands-on cooperation with International and regional strategic partners and networks. With nearly a decade of experience in civil society prior to her seven years in government, Svetlana is deeply committed to leveraging strategic communication to strengthen democratic resilience.
