Nevila Gjata

Nevila (Perndoj) Gjata has joined the Faktoje.al team as Editor-in-Chief. She brings 24 years of experience in print journalism, having worked for “Koha Jonë”, “Shekulli”, “Mapo”, and later the online outlet GazetaSi.al (in some of these also as a political editor), as well as serving as an external contributor for Mapo Magazine. For the past two years, she has also been an external collaborator of Faktoje.al.

Additionally, she has previously cooperated with the GIZ Tirana Office through the “Migration for Development Program”. Over the course of her career, she has covered political developments in the country, conducted interviews and profiled key figures, and produced analyses on political developments in Albania, the region, and the world.
