Hristijan Gjoreski

Hristijan is Associate Professor at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, N. Macedonia, and is Chief Technology Officer at Emteq Labs, UK. He is a multidisciplinary AI researcher, focused on application of AI algorithms to build intelligent systems and applications. He has specialized in development of machine-learning algorithms in the areas of wearable computing, e-health, activity recognition and affective computing. Hristijan is a recipient of a plaque for outstanding scientific achievements by the Ss. Cyril nad Methodius University in Skopje in 2024. He was selected as top 2% AI scientist worldwide for 2021, Best Young Scientist in Macedonia for 2017, and award winner of several ML competitions. He is coauthor of over 120 peer-reviewed papers in human behavior and emotion AI, more than 4000 citations with h-index of 31.
